Suriname is geared up for the event now. We are planning to do one of the two for April 26th: renew the huge botanical garden or find a spot in or around the city for a garden. Along with this there will be dustbins at specific spots in the city to maintain the cleanliness. Also we are working with all the youth organisations who are all geared up to do something... so I have given them the resp. to come up with a project within our theme of city beautification. We have a plan that each organisation take a few schools and work with the kids in the school to plant trees and maintain the cleanliness. We will supervise and work with the youth clubs to make it happen... There is soo much more happening each day.
