Guruji has told us to plant as many Lakshmi Taru trees as possible.

The plant has medicinal qualities, it does not need water or good soil, it practically grows in any type of soil available in India.

This year we as AOL family aim to plant 7 lakh Laxmi Taru plants - the same plant which Gurudev and President watered on SJC day.

Due to its multi fold benefits to mankind and mother nature, on Gurudev's 50th birthday a scheme was launched - Rishi Krishi Yojana - under which our BIG family will effect plantation and care of 50lakh saplings in few years' time.

To support this cause, seeds of this plant are available with Sri Sri Agricultural Institute in Bangalore ashram for Rs 200/- per kg.

Interested folks can write to srisriagri@gmail.com for more details.

I have a suggestion - if we have our own garden - small or big, let us cultivate the seeds into saplings and we can give it as a take away gift for all our friends, relatives who have space to plant the trees.

You too can contribute..in creating sapling. write to me if u r interested to help in this project. We will create saplings and then distribute it.

Lets All Contribute to make this project a BIG success and make this world a cleaner and greener place to live in:)

collect seeds from Ashram...

You can get the seeds from Ashram , at Rs. 200.00 per kg. You can
raise a nursery to make the saplings. In 1 kg seed ,can make 250
saplings.

NOTE : the great care should be taken as the seeds viability is for short time.

1) Be ready with poly bags filled with soil before receiving the seeds.

2) As soon as you receive the seeds put them in poly bags for germination.

3) Put the seeds only one cm approximately below soil surface.

4) Put the seed horizontally, not vertically.

5) Every bag you should put 4 seeds in a bag.
6) Avoid continuous rain more than three days, for Seedlings.
7) It will take 25 days for germination,
Water the seedlings once in a day.

8) After two n half month we can transplant the seedlings.
At the time of plantation just tear the polybag; plant the sapplings
as in the poly bag without separating them as some bags may contain
more than one or two plants.

For other info you are always welcome.

Pls send the DD in the name of ' VVKI - SSIAST' payable at State Bank
