After seeing the plight of cotton farmers in some parts of India, I feel urgency about the need to encourage the development of a market for organic cotton products from India. Pirate Parade

Dear Everyone
I enjoyed the Pirate Parade that Damariscotta put on. It was to raise money for a food drive. It was a blast, literally. They started off with firing the canons. The pungent smell of smoke permeated the air. The shots rang out and reverberated off the shorelines on either side of the river. People were dressed to the nines in pirate costumes. Kids carried fake swords and adults carried muskets and wore black hats with crossbones and skulls on them.
